ChiefPeñaflorremindedallprincipalstoensurethatausteritymeasureswillbestriclyfollowed.Noschoolshouldconducttheirritesoutsidetheschool.PSDSMendozabroughtupthecasesofschoolswithnocoveredcourt(DinalupihanES-April2andLuakanAnnex-April3).SDSFerrercommentedthatifitishotritesmaybeheldintheafternoonorearlyevening.SDSMendozaexplainedtheproximityoftheschoolsmentionedtoDinalupihanCivicCenter.Theattireforthestudentswillbeschooluniform.Togaisnotrequired.ASDSFrondamentionedthecomplaintsfiledattheSDOaboutcollectioninrelationtograduationexpenses.Itwasfoundthatsomeschoolsdidnotconductconsultationwithparents.Forthegraduationattire,thereisnoprovisionintheDepEdOrderfortoga.IfthereareparentswhowanttheirchildrentoweartogathesugggestionshouldnotcomefromanyDepEdpersonnel.Sponsorshipfromstakeholderscanbesuggested.ItwasaffirmedbyBudgetOfficerEstiocothatthefundsforrentingtogaisnotallowedtobechargedtoMOOE.SDSFerrerremindedeveryonethatthekeywordisvoluntary.Itshouldnotbeimposed.If1parentinsistsaskhimtopayforallthepupils.Themeaningoftheceremonyshouldbehighlighted.
ChiefPeñaflorremindedallschoolheadsnottoallowgraduationritestobeTheincumbentisallowedtobetherebutthegraduationwillnotbeusedtodelivercampaignspeeches.

TOPIC ISSUE/CONCERN COMMENTS/RECOMMENDATIONS/RESOLUTIONSTherequirednumberofschooldaysshouldbecompletedandeveryoneshouldnotbecontentwithmeetingonlytheminimumnumberofdaysrequiredtofinishtheschoolyear.Justifywhynumberofteachingdaysrequiredisnotmet.Itreflectsonthetypeofleadership.PermitshouldbesecuredfromSDSasitistheprudentthingtodo.Thechecklistofrequirementswillbeprovided.
PSDSMendozaconfirmedtheprocessofsecuringpermitastheHighSchoolnowaskthemforpermission.
SDSFerrerrepliedthatallcommunicationsshouldbeaddressedtohimwiththeinitialofthePSDS.OnceinitialisaffixedthePSDSisnowpartoftheresponsibility,hence,alldocumentsshouldbecarefullystudied,sowiththelogistics.PSDStorecommendapprovalonly.Furthermore,SDSFerrerremindedeveryonethatthecommunityisalreadyalaboratoryforlearning.Hence,Bataanshouldbeexploredfirstbeforegoingout.
Pupil'sRecordsfromprivateschools SPLintaginquiredaboutthestatusofthepupilswhowerenotabletocomplywiththerequirementsforenrolmentduetoproblemswithpaymentoftuitionfeeswiththeirformerprivateschools.
SDSFerrerrepliedthatnoschoolcandenyanybodytherighttoeducation.Theyareconditionallyenrolled.Buttheycannotbepromotedwithoutproofthattheypassedthepreviousgradelevel.Hesugggestedthattheschoolheadsspearheadanegotiationwithprivateschoolstocomeupwithasolution.Paymentschemeorsponsorship.Butthechildmaynotbeallowedtomoveuptothenextgradelevelunlessdocumentsaresubmitted.Forthereportonpromotion,itshouldnotbewritten"pendingsubmissionof"…itshouldbeexplainedtotheparent.
