This does not have to be the case, falls are preventable, not an inevitable part of ageing. The single most important thing we can do to remain fit, independent and prevent falls is to be physically active. Physical activity that increases strength and balance can prevent the loss of muscle strength and tone that happens naturally as we age. To celebrate April Falls Day we are offering FREE balance assessments with our resident Exercise Coordinator and Physiotherapist. Bookings are essential please phone 5558 6000. April Falls Day is also the starting date of “Better Balance”, our falls prevention program.
