passed away on 12/21, at the age of 53—The Crums

were frequent visitors to Parkside;

t for healing for Ruth Renberg who had an

angioplasty and 1 stent placed on 12/18 due to the

main artery to her heart being 99% blocked;

t for all who are suffering from the flu this holiday

season especially for those who already have health

issues;

t for all in our church family who have had recent

surgeries and illnesses including Ken Lentz;

share! Sign up at the youth counter.

OPEN GYM FOR ALL YOUTH ON TUESDAY 12/30 AND FRIDAY 1/2 FROM 1:00-3:00 PM. SNACK PROVIDED!

The L.I.G.H.T.S. Coffee House is open every Sunday

before and after church in the Youth Room featuring

expresso, cappuccino, latte, mocha, fruit smoothies,

juices, and other snacks for purchase.

Regular coffee is free!

If you have assigned offering envelopes, please pick up

your 2015 envelopes from the table in front of the Welcome

Center. If you do not have them but would like them, please

sign up for envelopes on the same table and they will be

available for pick up next Sunday.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY RESUMES ON JANUARY 18 The women’s study with

Kathy Molenkamp from Grace Bible College will start up again on Sunday night,

January 18, in the sanctuary from 6-8 p.m. The topic is “Biblical Truths about God,

Yourself and Others.” Plan to attend, invite your friends, and enjoy some great

fellowship and dessert following the study!

WOMEN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS STARTING JANUARY 25 There’s an

exciting adult Sunday School class for women starting up on January 25 and you’ll

want to be part of it! “Living Beyond Yourself” is a 12-week journey with Beth Moore

through what the Bible calls the fruit of the spirit. You’ll experience genuine free-

dom—the freedom that comes only through a life filled with the Holy Spirit. This is

a video study and there will be a $10 charge for the workbook. SIGN UP TODAY AT

PARKSIDE MISSION PROJECT

ACTION PACKS FOR VOICE OF THE MARTYRS

Voice of the Martyrs is an organization for persecuted Christians worldwide, providing for

churches, pastors and evangelists and their families in a number of ways. One of those ways is

through “Action Packs” which are sent to believers in areas where the Christians have lost about

everything. Parkside’s Missions Committee has purchased 10 Action Packs for us to fill as a

church family. Items needed are blankets, hats, towels, sheets, jackets, sweaters, socks, t-shirts

and much more. Please stop by the table in the Fellowship Hall manned by Katie Poynter and

Kelly DeFrell and pick up a card with the name of an item needed to fill a pack. Much more

information will be available on the table. Our goal is to have everything collected by 1/4.

Please help out our persecuted brothers & sisters in Christ in Iraq, Pakistan or Sudan.
