Art
Linking on from last week’s science, your task it to create a picture or sculpture of a
bird in the garden. You could use fallen petals, leaves, twigs, stones and blades of
grass to create your art work.
Remember it will need feathers, a beak, 2 legs, wings and maybe even a nest with
eggs in.
Art Artist of the Week: Keith Haring
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkTITbLQkh8&t=29s
Although not a name very familiar to most, his art is definitely recognisable.
Questions to ask: Do you like this art? Why? Why not? How does it make you feel?
Do you think these people are people he knows or characters he has created?
Activity: Can you create your own Keith Haring cartoon man? You could create one
using cardboard, cut it out and repeat this all over your piece of paper. You could
create a picture of your family using Keith Haring as inspiration. The video below
will give you some tips of how to draw like Keith.
