Casey is a 10 year old femaleCairn Terrier mix who weighs about20 lbs. She came from a shelter outof state. She is house trained, andvery good at letting you know whenshe needs to go outside. Casey isokay with cats and other small dogs, but tends to be bossy. She currentlygets along fine with a Greyhound. Casey likes to sleep in bed with you
and is quite a cuddle bug, but she isalso content to curl up on a dog bed ifyou don't like your pets in bed with you.She is a smart girl, she "speaks" for atreat and she also spins with excitementat dinner time!
Casey has a good appetite, and finishes her food in one sitting; she alsotakes a treat gently from your hand. She tends to pull when on a leashwhen out walking, so a harness is highly recommended. She's also not afan of having her paws touched.
Casey is quite a watch dog and barks at people outside and, until intro-duced correctly, she can be protective when someone comes to the door. She is also protective if you are in the car and someone pulls up alongside.
Casey is spayed and had a much needed dental with nine teethremoved. She is up to date with shots and is heartworm and intestinal par-asite free.

MISSION: To helppeople have theBEST skin of theirlives - without a visitto the dermatolo-gist. Dr. Katie Rodanand Dr. Kathy Fieldshave witnessed first-hand the emotionalempowerment thatcomes from gainingcontrol over acne
and everyday issuessuch as wrinkles,
hyper-pigmentation, and skin sensitivity. When itcomes to caring for skin, many people do not knowwhere to turn.
GOAL: To give everyone access to dermatologybased skincare so they can experience the person-al confidence that comes with having a healthy, clear, even toned complexion.
Darla Blowers attended a BNI (BusinessNetworking International) roundtable in the TwinCities and met a Rodan + Fields consultant. Beforepersonally trying the products Darla was con-vinced she wanted to be a consultant. “The prod-ucts are available without an appointment with adermatologist”, states Darla. “Personally I haveexperienced greater success using these productsthan going to a dermatologist”, she continued.
“Go to my website, www.dblowers.myrandf.com, and use the Solution Tool. This will help youknow what products to use”, suggests Darla. TheTool helps people determine the needs of theirskin in the privacy of their home and learn how totreat them. There are four regimens; Soothe, (forsensitive or irritated skin or facial redness),Unblemish, (for adult/cystic acne and post acnemarks), Reverse, (for sun damage, brown spots ordullness), and Anti-aging, (for wrinkles, enlargedpores and loss of firmness).
In 2002 Rodan + Fields was sold exclusively inhigh-end department stores. Satisfied customerswere sharing their positive results with friendsand family and sales grew. In 2008 the companymoved to direct sales in order to reward those sat-isfied customers – as they shared their success sto-ries, they sold and profited from the product - asconsultants.
Dr. Rodan and Dr. Fields began their journeyduring their dermatology residency at Stanford
University School of Medicine. Their mentor, thechairman of the dermatology department, put outa compelling message. “Find your passion andmake a difference, or be confined to a practice thatis ordinary.” That message spoke to them saying,“Go forth and change the rules.”
Rodan + Fields Dermatologists have receivedunsolicited advertising from well recognizedmedia such as the Today Show and Allure maga-zine. The company was named the 2010 RisingStar from the Direct Selling Association. Rodan +Fields is well known for having created theProactiv line of skincare. For Darla, who also ownsNew You Massage in Kasson, the connection tohealthy skin was obvious. “From being a massagetherapist I know the importance of healthy skin. Ilike that I can help people achieve that.” For moreinformation on Rodan + Fields contact Darla at251-2065 or at [email protected].
There is a prescription for change. 80 percent ofskin’s destiny can be controlled. Only 20 percent isgenetic. The Rodan + Fields Dermatologists prod-ucts are TOTALLY guaranteed. After using themfor 60 days there is a money back guarantee.Contact Darla or go online to learn how to havehealthy skin and experience the change. Noappointment necessary.

Marjorie Rapp hasreturned to the Mant-orville area and is acce-pting clients in herpractice, Bridgeport Fa-mily Law. Currently sheis in the process ofsecuring a location onMain Street in Mant-orville. She practices inthe area of in family lawincluding divorce, post-divorce, child support, mediation, property di-vision, paternity anddomestic abuse.
Marjorie's life experi-ences inadvertently ledher to a career in law.As a single mother ofthree living in theDenver, CO area
Marjorie attended MetroState College of Denver seeking a degree inHuman Services that would allow her to work withfamilies in the system that were dealing withissues of chemical dependency and other addic-tions. Graduating first in her class she allowed her-self to think that law school could be in her future.Despite the fact she loved living in Colorado sheapplied to William Mitchell College of Law in St.Paul. After interviewing for acceptance into theprogram, she came away knowing it was whereshe needed to be. Finding the academic life a bitmundane she found work as a law clerk for theRamsey County Judge, Mary Louise Klas, who con-tinues to work tirelessly to bring awareness andchange to laws governing domestic abuse. HereMarjorie was exposed to criminal and civil law andwas able to gain immeasurable experience observ-ing courtroom activity. Judge Klas became a true
mentor impassioning Marjorie to speak her beliefsand stand for what she believed. "We haveremained close friends. She taught me so muchand she says she is grateful for all she has learnedfrom me", Marjorie states as if surprised by that.
In 1999 Marjorie did the unexpected andopened her own practice. "Most law school gradswork with an established practice upon graduat-ing. I knew I needed to do what I believed in; work-ing in law to protect children. My strengths arenegotiating and settlements . I like mediation. Those would be strengths in a family law practice",Marjorie explains. "I also really like the courtroom-how the dynamics of a family system and the legalissues involved play themselves out in each case. Itjust made sense to establish a family law practice, especially with my passion for working with fami-lies", Marjorie continues.
Marjorie's number one goal is to provide a prac-tice where clients can feel safe. Often times theymay be at a point where they feel there are noresources available and may need to build trustand hear honest answers to move forward in theirlives. Marjorie listens and gives straightforwardadvice always keeping the welfare of children atthe forefront. "I really try to listen and use thatinformation to help my client. I will always be hon-est with them and help them deal with the situa-tion. I have received thank yous from clients yearslater letting me know they appreciated my hon-esty and helping them to realize circumstancesand change their lives even though at the time itmay not have been what they wanted to hear",shares Marjorie.
Marjorie admits that many things in her life thathave come to fruition started out as a vision."Attending law school, establishing a practice, vol-unteer projects, all of these came to me as avision”, Marjorie says. The future? Marjorie hasmore visions. She would like to establish a pres-ence on main street in Mantorville. "Mantorville isthe county seat. It needs an attorney", Marjoriebelieves. She would also like to establish a non-profit multi-faceted holistic family law center thatwould provide families many services. It wouldoffer affordable family legal services, mediation, parenting classes, advice on housing and finances, therapy, etc. She also envisions it serving as a 'safeplace' where children of divorced couples could beexchanged ." The possibilities are endless. I wouldlike to get that established and have it exist with-out me", Marjorie muses.
When not conjuring up visions Marjorie spendstime with her family including ten grandchildrenin the Twin Cities, doing probono family law casesfor Olmsted County Legal Aid or writing her book,a criminal thriller. "It's a mix of my personal andprofessional lives", she smiles.
Visions. Marjorie has many and knows they pro-vide her with motivation and inspiration.Especially when they benefit children and families."I will always work for the protection of children",she states and Bridgeport Family Law will be partof her work. Marjorie may be contacted at 651-334-9288 or [email protected].
