    COACHING STAFF: Roy Howellis the 29th manager in Tacoma franchise history. Howell is in his third season coaching in the Marine

    organization after two seasons as the hitting coach at Class-A Advanced High Desert. His managerial resume includes 3 seasons at shoseason Eugene (2003-05), 3 seasons with San Luis of the California Collegiate League (2007-10) and one season leading the field staff fthe Road Warriors of the independent Atlantic League (2011).     the Northwest League, the Everett AquaSox. Prior to joining the AquaSox, he spent the last 16 seasons as part of the Mariners broadcastteam, including also spending the last 5 seasons as an analyst on the MLB Network's MLB Tonight show. The former catcher spent 9seasons behind the plate for the Mariners and 21 seasons in professional baseball after originally selected by the Mariners in the secondround of the 1978 MLB Draft. Valleplayed for 4 teams in his 13-year Major League career, including the Mariners (1984-93), Boston(1994), Milwaukee (1994) and Texas (1995-96).
