did, the people didn't want to receive it in the form that He brought it.

That's the same way it is today, exactly the same. They want it, but they don't want to receive it on the level that God brings it. And that's the only way that God has of bringing it. And we cannot bring God down to our level of thinking. We've got to rise ourself to His level of thinking and meet Him on the grounds that He provided for us to meet him on.

12 In the garden of Eden sin was so beautiful until it attracted Eve from righteousness to sin. And in the same garden where there was a Tree of Life, there was also a tree of death. We would know it today as the law of contrast. That where there is good, there is evil; where there is right, there is wrong. And we will never, no matter what our environment may be, ever be able to shake ourselves from the presence of either. Because, Paul said, "When I would do good, then evil is present." The sinner will never be able to shake away from the Christian, the Christian from the sinner.

20 Oh, my. If we had a world like that tonight, the Millennium would be on, wouldn't it? When your spirit bears record with His Spirit that you're sons and daughters of God, then you are witnesses of God. Someone said the other day, said, "Bro. Branham, you believe God by faith. Abraham believed God by faith and that's all that you can do. There is no experience with it.” I said, "Oh, yes, my brother."

Said, ”What more can you do than believe God?"I said, "That's all you can do.” Said, "That's what I thought.” I said, "But Abraham believed God. By faith he believed God and God gave him the confirmation of his faith by the sign of circumcision. That's the seal of the covenant now, is the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

21 You believe God and say you believe God, and haven't received the Holy Spirit, there's something wrong with your faith. 'Cause God's under obligation to give every believer that repents and is baptized, to give you the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And He's more willing to give it to you, than you are to receive it. So there's something wrong somewhere. You just got a mental faith and instead of a heart faith. For God's under obligation to keep His Word.

demons possessed creatures begin to move. In a magazine sometime ago, some movie star said that night was made to live in. Night is made to sleep. And if you'll notice, you people here at the desert, it's your serpents, scorpions, snakes and lizards that crawl at nighttime, spiders and evil. Those who prowl at night around is evil. Night is very evil because it's darkness. And thanks be to God that there is a Light that we can see to walk in. And people who walk in darkness are blind, not knowing where they're going. But the children of the Light know because they're walking in the Light. And Jesus is that Light. "I am the Light, the Truth, the Life, the Way.”

SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS 22-1 "Light to those who set in the regions of the

shadows of death," Matthew 4... Bring Light to the Gentiles who were possessed and condemned by God in their idols, but He come as a Light. What did he say? "Thy Word is a Light to my path. A Light to lighten the path to my feet to guide me."

And today the Light of God is the Word of God made manifest, that's the Light made manifest. The Light is the works of God spoken by the Word of God brought to life, and it's a greater Light than it was at the dawn of creation. Amen.

WATCHMAN.WHAT.OF.THE.NIGHT 30 In the regular course of nature, always that the approaching of the sun congeals the darkness together and makes it dark. It's darker before day than any other time in the night. Why? It's the approaching light that's a making it dark.

And it's the approaching of the Lord Jesus now that's a bringing this gloom upon the earth. Did not He say, "When these things begin to come to pass, lift up your head, for your redemption's drawing nigh."

Science says that the reason it gets so dark is because that light is pressing the darkness. It's congealing together, and that's what makes it dark; it's the oncoming light. WATCHMAN.WHAT.OF.THE.NIGHT 38 It goes down, then what happens? The sun is approaching, then the darkest hour of the night is just before dawn. Science claims it's the night, the sun approaching, pressing--coming on, and pressing, congealing the night together. Because it knows it's just got a little while and day will break. And just before day break, what comes out? The morning star. What does the morning star mean? He stands alone; he's God's watchman. He stands in the tower alone.
