Adding Nucleating Clarifying Agent 900 series to Polyolefin resin can improve transparencyobviously. Normally adding 0.1%-0.2% to PP resin can get excellent transparency. Not onlycopolymer can get the excellent transparency but also for the homopolymer.

Apperance is white powder/granulePurpose:

A: enhance the transparency of PP B: Improve the facial smooth of PP

C: increase the crystallization temperature of PP D: enhance the flexibility of PP

E: ehance the dimension al stability of PP

Direction:

Firstly put PP into stirrer and drop 2% diffusing oil to mix them fully. Then add 900 SeriesNucleating Clarifying agent 2%-4% into the stirrer and agitating for 10 to 15 minutes.

Dosage:

Adding 2%-4% into PP will lead to a visible improvement of trasnparency and facial smooth.The best adding ratio is 4% and the recommended extrusion machine plastication temperaturesetting at 2250C-2600C.

Note:

The thickness of transparent effect should be less than 2mm. If the thickness is over 3mm,cannot get the expected transparent effect.

Description

AS 8083 is an Anti-Static masterbatch for Polyolefins by reducing the build-up of electrostatic surface

charges during processing, impoved processing efficiency, reduce transport and packing problems andminimize dust pick-up.

If the product is subject to welding ( heat sealing), printing or labeling, care must be given to choose theright concentration. This because of its nature, AS8083 will migrate to the surface of the plastic to actas antistatic agent and if the percentage is too high, could give problems when welded, printed orlabeled. In this case, we recommend to perform, those further processes immediate after the producthas been moulded or blown since the antistatic will gradually migrate to the surface, i.e the longer theproduct is stored, the more antistatic active ingredient will migrate to the surface.
