In a gala event, local community members had the opportunity to bid on some extremely creative Christmas decorations at the Waxahachie Bible Church. “The purpose behind the Festival of Trees is to raise funds to build afford- able housing for Habitat for Human- ity in Ellis County,” said Sue Allelo, a promotions and fundraising volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Festival of TreesHabitat for Humanity holds fundraiser

Habitat for Humanity of Ellis County held its annual silent auction this weekend to raise funds and awareness for affordable housing to those in need.

In a gala event, local community members had the opportunity to bid on some extremely

creative Christmas decorations at the Waxahachie Bible Church.

“The purpose behind the Festival of Trees is to raise funds to build afford-able housing for Habitat for Human-ity in Ellis County,” said Sue Allelo, a promotions and fundraising volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.

While adults roamed the “North Pole,” children took in the beauty with wide-eyed amazement.
