How it works:
Flexible Training Opportunities gives businesses with under 150 employees the opportunity to apply for up to £5000 towards employee training costs.
Funding is available for up to 10 employees per business and the money is not a loan so there’s no need to pay it back.
SDS will refund 50% of the cost. It’s flexible, so 10 employees can do one course each or one employee can do 10 courses with any combination in between.
So – businesses like yours can double their training investment. Or it might help you introduce some much needed skills training when you thought it wouldn’t be possible.
However, you must register before the 31st March and complete the training by 30th June 2011.
Funding is available for hundreds of courses in addition to those described in this e-bulletin. If you have a training need (excluding regulatory training) and you have no more than 150 employees, you can also contact the Academy through “Ask Morag” We will help you find the training you need and help you with the application process.
