HEREDITARY SPHEROCYTOSIS

• mostly asymptomatic with chronic compensated haemolytic state

• there may be acute crisis. • Haemolytic crisis• Megaloblastic crisis• aplastic crisis• pigment gallstones in 50% causing

cholecystitis
