High blood pressure, family history of heart disease, lack of exercise, fatty diet . . . are all signs that you are at risk for heart disease and stroke. Monthly clinic visits until risks are reduced by reaching target ranges for blood pres- sure, cholesterol and blood sugar. After reaching target, visits will be quarterly. I have Type 2 diabetes why is cardiovascular disease risk reduction important to me?
