Market overview 1

• Forcast on Bandwith Demand shows that all users need more and more bandwith

• According to the « sophisticated » multimidia applications they are using, residential subscribers are asking for high speed internet.

Market overview 2

• Tariffs for broadband services are decreasing around the world.

• The boom of the broadband market is coming.

• Operators have to prepare infrastructure to face demands every where.

Market Overview 3

• Operators today problem : Availability & Quality of Access Network

• xDSL technologies are not available and suitable every where

• Deployment of xDSL technologies depends on the quality and coverage of existing wired network

DDeefinitionfinition 1

Wireless Broadband Access (WBA) is a new solution based on point to multipoint radio distribution to provide broadband access.

It comes as attractive and innovative alternative for conventional broadband connections based on traditional copper links.

DDeefinitionfinition 2

Wireless Broadband Access (BWA) is used to provide broadband services to suburban and remote users (Voice, Data, High speed Internet).
