EVENT REPORT
DAY-1(01ST JULY 2018)
On the very first day, we started our event with a
prayer to god and prayer to ourself. There are around 40 members
participated on this day. Then we started the first exercise of body
loosening exercise. Body loosening exercise includes loosening of
muscles, hand rotation, head rotation, knee rotation and hip
rotation. Basic aasanaas of sugasanam, padmasanam and
vajrasanam. Basic mudras of schin mudra, nasika mudra.
Pranayama exercises for increasing lung capacity.
DAY-2(02ND July 2018)
Our second day of yoga class starts with a
namaskar to the yoga master. Then we started the exercises to
head, knee and to all joints of the body. There are around 30
members participated on this day. We did chin mudra meditation
for 5 minutes in sugasanam and prana mudra meditation for 5
minutes in vajrasanam. Our yoga master Mr.Saroj kumar gave a
short hints for doing yogasannas and mudras. We did naadisuthi
exercise for the circulation of air in our body and stimulation of
brain cells.
Atlast we did body relaxation exercise for relaxing
the whole body.
DAY-3(03RD JULY 2018)
We started our third day with a devotional prayer
song sung by the yoga master. There are around 35 members
participated on this day. We did body loosening exercise which is a
preparatory exercise for the aasanaas and mudras. Body loosening
exercise ncludes head rotation, knee rotation, ankle rotation and
hip rotation. We also did standing position aasanas like
pranamasanam, utkattasanaam and paatha hasthasanaam. These
three aasanas for the upper part of the body. Next, we did
sarvangasanam which is for the stomack, liver and pancreas. Our
yoga master gave do’s and dont’s while doing yogasaanas and
mudras.
Then we all ended the day with body relaxation
exercise for relaxation of whole body.
DAY-4(04TH July 2018)
We started the fourth day with a prayer to god
and prayer to ourself. We directly started the standing position
aasanas like pranamasanam, pathahathasanam,
hasthauttaasanam. There are around 40 members participated on
this day. We also did bujankaasanam, athamukthasanam and
ashvasanjalasanam for pain relieving exercises. Thadasanam,
which is a aasana for lung capacity increasing and for building up
chest muscle. In siting position aasanaas we did, thandasanam for
relaxing of thigh muscles and knee joints. We did 10 minutes
meditation in chin mudra and 10 minutes meditation in vaayu
mudra in sugasanam. We also did badmasanam yoga for legs and
lower part of the body.
We all ended the fourth day body relaxation
meditation.
DAY-5(05TH July 2018)
Our fifth day of yoga class starts with a namaskar
to the yoga master. Then we started the exercises to head, knee
and to all joints of the body. Standing position aasnaas like
chakrasanam and thirikonaasanam as warming up exercise. We
did chin mudra meditation for 5 minutes in sugasanam and prana
mudra meditation for 5 minutes in vajrasanam. Our yoga master
Mr.Saroj kumar gave a short hints for doing yogasannas and
mudras. We did naadisuthi exercise for the circulation of air in our
body and stimulation of brain cells. We also did maha mudra and
yoga mudra for diabetics. There are around 40 members
participated on this day.
Atlast we did body relaxation exercise for relaxing
the whole body.
DAY-6(06TH July 2018)
We started the fourth day with a prayer to god and prayer to
ourself. We directly started the standing position aasanas like

Our seventh day of yoga class starts with a
namaskar to the yoga master. Then we started the exercises to
head, knee and to all joints of the body. Standing position aasnaas
like chakrasanam and thirikonaasanam as warming up exercise.
We did chin mudra meditation for 5 minutes in sugasanam and
prana mudra meditation for 5 minutes in vajrasanam. Our yoga
master Mr.Saroj kumar gave a short hints for doing yogasannas
and mudras. We did naadisuthi exercise for the circulation of air in
our body and stimulation of brain cells. We also did maha mudra
and yoga mudra for diabetics. We also did vakrasanam for the
benefit of spine. There are around 40 members participated on this
day.
Atlast we did body relaxation exercise for relaxing
the whole body.
DAY-8(08TH JULY 2018)
In the last day of course we did some of the advanced yogasaanas
and the mudras for all parts of the body. There are around 60
members participated on this day. We did vakrasanam,
thadasanaam and thandasanam for limbs and lower body. After
completing Yoga course, we conducted valedictory function. In the
valedictory function the programme was organized by Shri.
Harikrishnan, ARSL. Then the welcome address was proposed by
Shri. Sivanandam, GL/S. The special speech on yoga was given by
Shri. Tamilselvan, former GL/S. The chief guest Shri. Udayakumar,
secretary(Bharat scouts & Guides, ICF District) gave an special
speech for the development of yoga. Then our District secretary
Shri. Udayakumar presented a momento to the Yoga master
Shri. Saroj kumar, kalaimamani in yoga. The vote of thanks was
given by Shri. Ravichandran, ARSL. Then we all concluded the
event by National Anthem.
