Wedding Ceremonies Ceremonies are held at Vista Del Mar, The Wedding Site and Lower Terrace. The
following fees apply for ceremonies:
A catered breakfast, lunch or dinner function must follow all ceremonies. The client
is responsible for securing a minister and obtaining all the necessary paper work
(license, etc.). A rehearsal is suggested prior to the ceremony date and can be
arranged at no additional charge.
The Lower Terrace can be used for both ceremony and brunch or lunch reception,
for events starting at 10:00 am, and concluding by 3:00 pm.
To ensure a most memorable day, Ventana Inn & Spa requires a Day of
Wedding Planner of your choice for wedding with more than 75 guests. We
also have a preferred vendor list to assist you in your planning. You may
choose to use your own vendors; however, your selected vendors must be
reliable, professional and familiar with the guidelines of Ventana Inn & Spa.
Ventana Inn & Spa reserves the right to review and approve all vendors.
Receptions, Meetings and Catered Events Rental charges apply to all sites used for receptions, meetings and catered events
that are arranged through Catering/Conference Services.

Your Catering/Conference Services Manager may be able to offer
consideration on rental rates for events between December and March.
Guest Rooms and Property Buy-out Room accommodations are often available on a limited basis. Please
contact our Room Reservations Department at 831-667-2331 for
availability and information on rates. For information on blocking five or
more guest rooms, your Sales Manager will assist you.
A two (2) day minimum buy-out of all guest rooms is required for a full
property buy-out. In addition to the rack rate cost of the 59 sleeping
rooms, there is a $25,000.00 Spa minimum. When contracted on an
exclusive-use basis, all rooms are accessible by client invitation only.
Ventana Inn & Spa is adult only. Children may not stay or visit guest
rooms at the Inn. However, guests under 18 are permitted to attend
wedding functions taking place at event sites not located at The Inn.
Payment Information A deposit representing the total site fees or $500, whichever is greater, is
due two (2) weeks after the event is booked. This deposit is NON-
REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. A signed Contract, Terms
and Conditions Agreement, Deposit Schedule and Credit Card
Authorization must accompany this deposit.
An estimation of charges will be prepared by your Catering/Conference
Services Manager. Fifty percent of the estimated charges will be due 120
days prior to the scheduled event. The balance of all estimated charges
will be due 45 days prior to the event. These payments may be made by
check or credit card. A signed credit card authorization form is required
to cover any outstanding balance due upon conclusion of your event.

Confirmation of Attendance A guarantee of attendance is to be provided to your Catering/Conference
Services Manager at least three (3) working days prior to the scheduled event.
For events which occur on Saturday, Sunday or Monday, the guarantee is due
the preceding Wednesday. If no guarantee is provided, the estimated
attendance will be considered the final guarantee.
Food and Beverage Split Entrée: We offer Tableside Entrée Selection at no extra cost. Only two
entrée selections are permitted. A third entrée option can be added for an
additional $10.00++ per person. Exact entrée counts must be communicated to
your Catering/Conference Services Manager seven (7) working days prior to
the event.
Meals: Hors d’oeuvres range from $15.00-$40.00 per person. Luncheons
range from $55-75 per person. Dinners are $130 per person. Children’s Meals
and Vendor Meals are available at $35 per person. All prices are exclusive of
tax and gratuity.
Beverages: All beverages, including wine, liquor, beer and non-alcoholic
beverages, are based on consumption. There is a bartender fee of $250.00 per
bar.

Menu Selection Menu selections are to be finalized at least two months prior to your event
date. All food and beverage items are subject to a service charge and current
sales tax.
Meals: Meals include Breakfast (6:00am-10:00am), Brunch (10:00am-
2:00pm), Lunch (11:00am-3:00pm), and Dinner (6:00pm-10:00pm).
Children’s meals and vendor meals are available upon pre-arranged request.
Pricing: Food and beverage pricing may be confirmed up to (6) months
prior to your event.
Décor Linen: There is no charge for white or ivory tablecloths and napkins.
Specialty linens can be arranged through your Catering/Conference Services
Manager. Prices range from $85.00 to $150.00 each.
Place Cards Your Catering/Conference Services Manager can provide place cards
starting at $3.00 each.
Printed Menus Printed Menus are available for each table or place setting starting at $6.00
each.
Menu Tastings We do not offer menu tastings but encourage you to visit the Restaurant at
Ventana, as the Restaurant Culinary Team caters our Banquet Events.
All Vendors, Including But Not Limited to Entertainers and Photographers… A list of recommended vendors is included. All vendors must be approved by the
Resort. Entertainers or photographers not listed on the Recommended Vendor
List must provide proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00
prior to the event. Ventana Inn & Spa must be listed as “additional insured” on
such a policy.
Amplified Music Amplified music must be turned off at 10:30pm sharp for all locations.
Service Charge All menu prices are subject to a 20% service charge.
Tax Current sales tax is applied to subtotaled items and applicable service charges, in
accordance with California Regulation 1603.f Taxable Sales of Food Products:
“Amounts designated as service charges, added to the price of meals, are a part
of the selling price of the meals, and accordingly must be included in the
retailer’s gross receipts subject to tax even though such service charges are made
in lieu of tips and are paid over the retailer to those employees.”
