The overall silhouette from the 1890’s changed at the turn of the century into a slimmer and more feminine form because of the fact that changes in fashion happen

based on previous styles and the rumored tastes of King Edward VII.

• 1901-1910• Old age = more mature taste in

relaxing, garden parties, dress elegantly
