VISTANET ORDERING INFORMATIONEQUIPMENT OPTION CODE DESCRIPTION
86456 -02VLA VistaNET Local Access RTU license. Provides local monitoring
and configuration capabilities and remote monitoring capabilities.
Provides two serial COM port connections. Purchased one per node.
86456 -01
VNI VistaNET Network Interface RTU license. Provides local and
remote monitoring and configuration capabilities, alarm engine, systemmap and basic inventory through a serial (CI) or IP connection (the
latter requires IPSU with VSP package or VSA). Pro vides two seri al
COM port connections. Purchased one per node.
86456 -03VNI Upgrade package. A one-time charge for cust omers that want to
upgrade their existi ng JNCI to VNI. Purc hased one per system.
86456 -04
VSA VistaNET Server Application RTU license. A PC-based
Windows service that adds server capabilities to a Service Unit via a
serial connect ion (an alternative for IPSU). Purchased one per NMSdomain (with a max of 50 nodes).
86456 -05VistaNET COM Port Expansion RTU license. Provides additio nal COM
port support (to a maximum of 8) for VNI or VLA. One needed for
each NMS domain (> 2) managed through a serial connection.
86456 -06
VCS VistaNET Client Seats RTU license (3 pack). Provides the
capability to simult aneously run additional 3 VNI clients (the first three
are provided with a purchase of a VistaNET server). One neededfor every set of (up to) three simultaneous users beyond the first 3.
