MSU’s Distinctive Teacher Certification Program:

• All MSU teacher preparation students must complete a 1-year teaching

internship after earning a 4-year undergraduate degree.

• Teaching interns earn 12 graduate level credits that can, with program

approval, be applied toward several master’s degree programs offered

by the College of Education.

Data Collection & Placement

InformationIn Fall 2013, an electronic version of the Destination Survey was sent to 483 of those

who completed the 2012-2013 teacher certification internship. By August 2014, 409 had

responded resulting in an 85% response rate. All results of this survey are based on the

responses to individual questions asked. Not all respondents answered every question.
