The Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) of the IQAC
All NAAC accredited institutions will submit an annual self-reviewed progress report to NAAC, through
its IQAC. The report is to detail the tangible results achieved in key areas, specifically identified by the
institutional IQAC at the beginning of the academic year. The AQAR will detail the results of the

2.14 Significant Activities and contributions made by IQAC
1. Organising Board of Studies meeting regularly in every department.
2. Organizing college academic council meeting every year to approve the scheme and
syllabi as recommended by respective Boards of Studies.

5 Civil The department has introduced advanced teaching tools
such as smart class room, real time video conferencing and
webinar to bridge the industry institution gap incorporating
the latest practices to enhance the technical, logical and
analytical skill of students.
Every faculty is assigned a group of students for their
holistic development academically, socially, physically and
psychologically to be better global citizens of tomorrow. 6 ME Electives such as Java Programming, Database Management
systems SAP introduced to enhance Placement skills in IT Co‟s
7 ECE Skills in Demand such as VLSI Lab back end tool based
experiments, IoT etc. are considered in refining laboratories.
Employability skills such as SAP, effective communication skills
were included in the syllabi. Value aided programs such as CRT is
additionally conducted.
As a guide to progress in research a course on Research
Methodology is introduced in all PG streams.

management has necessitated the Introduction of new core subject

have introduced Business Research Methods in MBA II Semester.
3)To introduce Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Logistics and
Supply Chain Management (LSCM) as Soft-core electives.
4)The rising demand for maintaining original contribution of Research
we have introduced the concepts of Plagiarism, Reliability and Validity
in Business Research Methods and 24% of plagiarism check is
recommended by the panel of Experts for the projects.
5)Operations Management play a key role in enhancing the productivity
and efficiency in an organizational pursuit hence we have revised it
with new concepts to equip the students with the latest developments in
production technologies.
The department is offering open electives to other engineering
departments as a part of the choice based credit system and they are as

The Department of CSE has constituted Department level Academic Review Committee
which periodically ensures conduct of following activities and submit the same details to
College level IQAC:-

3. Conduct of Seminars, workshops, Conferences and bridge courses for students.
4. Invite experts for Expert Lectures on emerging technologies

ECM The Department of ECM has framed Department Academic Committee to keep track the activities in the department and submit the same to College Academic Committee. Apart from this the department regularly conducts FDPs, Seminars and Industry visits for faculty and students.

3. Research, Consultancy and Extension
3.1 Initiatives of the IQAC in Sensitizing/Promoting Research Climate in the institution
CSE In order to promote research activities , the college has taken initiatives to extend financial support of
Rs. 1 Lakh as a seed money to the faculty members to pursue research in their area of study. These
research works are likely to be submitted to the Research Establishment in the due course.
IT New Facility Created
2017: MOUs & Collaborations with IBM in the year 2017 to conduct a three different course
like IOT/ Cloud Computing/ Big Data Analytics.
Established IT Lab in Pre Engineering Block with 60 computer systems with Windows
Operating System
2016: Established three IT Labs in Third floor of II Block
3 IT Labs each with 30 computers systems with Windows Operating System.
ECE Resolved for sanction of seed money of INR1Lakh for a faculty to promote in house
research activity. This is treated as in-house as proposals. INR 5lakshs is sanctioned in this
regard. Such completed projects to be elevated for Granted projects are under consideration
towards benefiting the corresponding investigators.
BT Institute is providing seed money of Rs 1 Lakh for research to faculty members.With the
results generated from this seed money they will be encouraged to further apply for National
funding agencies.

6.1 State the Vision and Mission of the institution
Vision of Sreenidhi
Sreenidhi would like to develop an Institute of higher learning with the introduction of Post-
Graduate courses and Research facilities. Introduced PG courses in each of the branches offered.
To introduce Doctoral Programmes on part-time basis initially and on full time basis later on. To
attain the status of a Deemed University and be recognized globally for the moulding of the best
professionals by 2020. This is the Vision and aspiration of Sreenidhi.

Sreenidhi is dedicated for transforming the students into highly competent engineers with high

6.9 What efforts are made by the University/ Autonomous College for Examination Reforms?
a) The College has established a full-fledged examination branch head by a senior professor
b) The BOS chairman will submit the panel of examinations after duly approved by the BOS
of departmental concern
c) The paper setting is done by the external examiners identified from the panel of examiners
d) Each exam paper will consists of part – A & part-B sections. Part-A will cover short answer
questions and Part – B will cover Essay questions
e) Papers are coded and sent for 100% external examiners for evaluation
f) Evaluation of UG courses is done with single evaluation, PG courses will be evaluated by
two examiners
g) Project viva-voce will be conducted by inviting external examiners from approved panel of

h) For processing the result the answer scripts are to be decoded and results are to be finalized

made for recounting and revaluation of answer scripts for the students on their request.
i) The parents are informed about the results of their children through messages, telephone
and the same is uploaded in the college website.
