Sheila Stith is President/CEO of Stith & Associates Health Insurance Agency. In this role, Sheila leads a team of sales agents providing all aspects of health insurance including Medicare Supplement, individual, and group health plans for large and small entities. Sheila is licensed to sell insurance in 20 states.

Before starting Stith & Associates Health Insurance Agency, in 2006, Sheila worked for Aetna Inc as a Medicare Inside Sales Associate. Following a company downsizing, Aetna recruited her as a Broker to pilot their Captive Agent program. After Sheila more than tripled the anticipated sales quota, she decided to fund her business venture with personal resources and branch out on her own.

Sheila’s current business success is firmly rooted in her early career experiences. She started her professional career at AAA Mid-Atlantic. She rose up through the ranks, from a senior administrative position in payroll where she was promoted to supervisor of the driving school with oversight responsibility in six states and later ascended to manager. She also represented AAA Mid-Atlantic as Director of the Driving School in the state of Pennsylvania and helped to write the curriculum standards that are in place currently. This was followed by a position as a tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service.

Sheila’s varied background in healthcare, marketing, and management provides the perfect foundation for her mission to educate and advise. In particular, she holds a special affinity for the senior population and the many challenges they face. In 2012, she received her designation as a Certified Senior Advisor (CSR). Sheila prides herself in providing health insurance services that empower the individual, small business, and the Medicare population. Due to her dedication and service to these markets she was able to attain a qualifying level of sales and became a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).

Sheila’s concern for others is extended to her active involvement in her church community. Formerly a member of New Era Baptist Church, she served as Co-Chair of the Trustee Board for over 10 years. In addition, upon changing her church affiliation to Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, she immediately became involved in the Unity Choir. Sheila attends service regularly and is supportive of church activities. Sheila attributes her many blessings to God’s unchanging grace and mercy.
