Space Planning and Interior Design works

BA3 Mixed Use DevelopmentBrief:

To design a mixed use development to incorporate 50residential apartments suitable for the modern family.Development also required a residents car park, 3 large retailunits, a convenience store and 10 workspaces. Site adjacent toPark Lane and Liver Street and opposite BA3 Theatre project.

BA3 Workshop TheatreBrief:

To design a workshop theatre on the outskirts ofthe new Liverpool One development (opposite JohnLewis car park) The aim was to provide a bridgebetween the urban and suburban environmentsand to attract a younger audience to the theatre.

BA2 Nocturnal Wildlife CentreBrief:

To design a Nocturnal Wildlife Visitor Centre comprising anenvironmentally sustainable building integrated into asensitive site development proposal. The Centre will be usedduring the day by families and the general public and duringthe night by groups of researchers and enthusiasts whostudy nocturnal wildlife.

BA2 Community CentreBrief:

To create a Community Centre for the visuallyimpaired which would act as a gateway toinformation, inspiration and entertainment,offering an array of activities and events. Thecentre required four major functions: information,emotional support, relaxation and environment.

BA2 Bat SanctuaryBrief:

To provide bat houses for the resident bats ofSefton Park, Liverpool. The development had to beaccessible by the public during the day and suitedto the nocturnal habits of the bats.

BA1 House for Brian EnoBrief:

To investigate the artwork and mentality of a givenartist, in this case Brian Eno, and to use them as ahypothetical client for a house on Hilbre Island. Thisproject focused on converting music into form viaexpressionist painting.

BA1 Dive CentreBrief:

To design a school for sub-aqua diving at The

Albert Dock, Liverpool. The project aimed to

bridge the gap between the old Albert Dock and

new developments and focused on theprogramme of the diving process.
