Remote Monitoring Technologies

Remote Monitoring Technologies

In 2008, RMTeK released to market, a server-side or cloud services remote monitoring

application and associated hardware to meet the monitoring needs of various

Government, Corporate and Small Business market segments.

Primarily, this is an efficiency technology that is designed to allow for large reductions in

the labour cost and associated transport expenses that occur in the management of

remote locations.

Introduction

The solution supplied on 4, 6 and 8 metre poles and in close proximity to

infrastructure as required. The unit communicates wirelessly via Cellular or

Satellite networks and can be mains powered or configured with battery and solar

panel capacity to operate 24/7. The unit is IP 66 rated and at a minimum will

operate from -10 to +50 degrees Celsius and up to 90% humidity.

Solution Format

Industrial control sits at the heart of the RMCam. Capable of receiving data and

talking back to infrastructure across analogue, serial and digital protocols, a wide

range of sensors are available either connected directly to the unit, or

communicating wirelessly to allow strategic positioning of both sensors and vision.

With on-board PLCs, fully integrated communications module and a 24/7 live

connection to logic based data analysis in the cloud, users can see data in real-

time from any, and multiple locations while having the ability to reach back through

the live connection to change state or switch devices at the remote location,

whenever needed.
