DESCRIPTION

A recap of Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the NY Rangers and the Montreal Canadiens. The Rangers continue their hot streak, winning this one 3-2 in overtime. They look to close out the series on Tuesday night.

Transcript

Martin St. Louis and the Rangers take on the Montreal Canadiens in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

This one would be a physical game with both teams combining for 26 penalty minutes.

The Rangers would strike first in this one.

After a penalty by Miller, Carl Hagelin takes a pass from Brian Boyle and sneaks a shorthanded goal past Tokarski to take a one-nothing lead.

It's Hagelin's sixth goal of the playoffs.

The Rangers would continue to commit penalties, racking up 12 minutes in the box in the first two periods.

While they killed the power play well, they could not prevent Bouillon from getting on the board in the 2nd period.

But before the period ended, Derick Brassard takes a pass from Dan Girardi on an odd-man rush and scores.

It's Brassard's fifth goal of the playoffs.

Finally, the Canadiens capitalized on a Rangers' penalty 2 minutes into the third period.

Subban scores on the power play after a penalty committed by Dominic Moore.

And after three periods, we would go into overtime.

It was a fitting ending; Martin St. Louis, the emotional leader for this team throughout the playoffs, used a wrist shot to end this one.

Rangers win, 3 to 2.

Game 5 will take place Tuesday night.

It's win-or-go-home for the Canadiens.
