SOFIA – THE CAPITAL CITY OF REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA

Sofia is the capital and largest city of

Bulgaria and the 15th largest city in the European Union with a population of

1.27 million people.

The St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is a Bulgarian Orthodox cathedral in Sofia, the

capital of Bulgaria is one of the largest Eastern Orthodox cathedrals in the world, as well as one of Sofia's symbols and primary

tourist attractions.

Theatre is by far the most popular form of performing art. The oldest such institution is the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, which performs mainly classical plays and is

situated in the very centre of the city.

There are 16 universities in Sofia. The Saint Clement of Ohrid University of

Sofia, often regarded as the most prestigious

university of Bulgaria.

The fortress TSAREVETS is a popular tourist attraction in Veliko Turnovo.

Founded in the 10th century, the Rila Monastery is regarded as one of Bulgaria's

most important cultural, historical and architectural monuments .

Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak

The tomb is part of a large Thracian necropolis. The monument dates back to the 4th century and has been on the UNESCO protected World Heritage Site list since 1979.

The paintings are Bulgaria's best-preserved artistic masterpieces from the Hellenistic period.

Gotse Delchev

Gotse Delchev is situated in a mountainous area. Located about 200 kilometers from the capital - Sofia and 97 km from the city of Blagoevgrad in the southern part of Blagoevgrad district. The town center is 545 m above sea level. The Gotse Delchev Hollow has a continental climate, the rainfall is mainly in spring and autumn, summer is hot and dry. Winter temperature inversions are possible.

It is very old arhitectural village near our town from XIX century.

OUR KINDERGARTEN

“Brezichka” kindergarten boasts a tradition of thirty nine years in providing children of Gotse Delchev town with education and childcare.

Currently, our kindergarten has capacity to accommodate and provide regulated daycare for one hundred and sixty children, ranging from two to seven years of age, placed in six groups.

Children are educated by experienced teachers. Integral education for children with special educational needs is currently being implemented.

The facilities of full-time kindergarten Brezichka have been thoroughly renovated and upgraded in 2012 under an EU-financed project.

Comprising the past, reflecting the present and looking to the future - everyone will find that our kindergarten is a pleasant and preferred place for the children as well as for it’s team.

Brezichka compound is located in the central part of Gotse Delchev, it is surrounded by residential buildings and shops.It as a large external yard where children can play and do sports.

Children are our future. That’s why we are motivated to further upgrade our qualifications in order to provide them with

modern and interactive education, so that they will

believe in their dreams and make them come true.
