Red Bull To sponsor a Design Charrette in order to re-design an Red Bull RV trailer used for different events.

Overview

The Design Charrette will investigate the potential for an upgrade to one (1) of the existing Red Bull RV trailers. Start date Tuesday, November 12, 2019 This will be a (3) three-weeks charrette. The exercise will be conducted in groups. A total of 6 groups with 5 students each..

Grad 1 ClassTo produce a design with the look & feel of the Red Bull RV space

The idea is to refresh and revive the truck interior and exterior spaces by fixing what’s already there and adding some new exciting elements.

~Red Bull is all about energy... it will increase performance, concentration, reaction speed, vigilance, and even well-being.

Exterior Issues• No space for hanging signs / menus in direct view of consumers at bar• Logo is not illuminated on front• No exterior power outlets• No collapsible exterior facades & storage • No space / Place for trash & recycling

Exterior Requirements• Exterior design of furniture/fixtures layout to compliment proposed facades and create “Red Bull

Areas” at festivals• Easy and Effective mounting system for facades. Simple to use and reuse • Exterior flood lighting for set up / tear down of trailer bar and surrounding setup• Red Bull Social Media Both/Space

Exterior Main GoalStudents need to design a sliding / locking system that can be attached to exterior facades so when this unit needs to represent a tiki bar one week, the following week they can swap into urban or any other façade very easily.
