About NIESBUD
The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development is a
premier organization of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship,
engaged in training, consultancy, research, etc. in order to promote entrepreneurship
and Skill Development. The major activities of the Institute include Training of Trainers,
Management Development Programmes, Entrepreneurship-cum-Skill Development
Programmes, Entrepreneurship Development Programmes ,Export Import Procedure &
Documentation Programme,and Cluster Intervention. NIESBUD has provided training to
appox.11 46,209 persons as of March 31, 2020 through 44,035 different training
programmes since inception. This includes 4,384 international participants hailing from
more than 141 countries throughout the globe.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has shaken the whole world at large. We heard the word
Lockdown first time in our life. We all know that we are passing through most difficult
time in our life. But Indian traders are famous to find the opportunities from problems.
The old saying ‘Reading between the line is International Trade’. Let’s read and reap
the benefits with the help of technology.
The online training on Export-Import Procedure & Documentation has been designed
considering mainly two points.1.COVID-19 situation 2. China.
OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMME
To develop entrepreneurship mind set in export-Import Trade; To enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants to understand

PROGRAMME METHODOLOGY
The programme methodology consists of lecture, discussions, exercises, case studies and
assignments. The training methodology will employ a Facilitated Learning Approach. It will
be a mix of facilitator led courses which will have in-house and practical activities along with
self-learning sessions.
SESSION PLAN
The sessions will focus on the knowledge, skill, attitude and practice framework to bring
about the desired change. The sessions are designed keeping in mind the role of PMKVY
Trainers in the entrepreneurship ecosystem. The session will cover broader aspects of
entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial motivation, and supporting nano and micro enterprise,
networking and leveraging other government schemes and polices of supporting
entrepreneurship, effective liasioning with banks for loans, preparation of business plan and

Terms of Payments Mr. H P Singh The session objective is to empower the Exporter to receive all payments on time. The best mode of payment for exporter is 100% advance. On the other hand R.B.I. has given us 270 days to receive export payment ( Credit –D.A )
Delivery of transport document against payment is also allowed & safe compare to D.A )
The safest mode of payment is Letter of Credit (L/c) but on certain conditions. How to establish L/c and 39 conditions.
