One dayyou’re going to tell a

story about this season in life.

Hopefully, you’ll tell a story that you’re proud to tell. Some

won’t.

THE DECISIONS WE MAKE TODAY DETERMINE THE STORIES WE’LL TELL TOMORROW.

SOMETIMESTHE BEST

DECISION YOU CAN MAKE IS

TO STAY WHEN IT WOULD BE

EASIER TO GO.

How do we live the story we want to

tell?

Hebrews 12:2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and

perfecter of our faith…

I DECIDED TO:

STAYwhatever happens

Sometimes it’s the right thing to quit.

Ruth 1:15-1615 "Look," said Naomi,

"your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her."

Ruth 1:15-1616 But Ruth replied, "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where

you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.

Ruth went to work in the fields—She was lower than a slave.

Boaz—treated her with kindness and protected her. Why?

Ruth 2:11-1211 Boaz replied, "I've been

told all about what you have done for your mother-

in-law since the death of your husband —

Ruth 2:11-12How you left your father

and mother and your homeland and came to live with a people you did not know before. 12 May the Lord repay you for what

you have done..."

WHAT DOES GOD WANT YOU TO WANT?

WHERE DOES GOD WANT YOU TO STAY?

Galatians 6:99 Let us not become weary

in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give

up.

1 Corinthians 15:5858 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm.

Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully

to the work of the Lord, because you know that your

labor in the Lord is not in vain.

2 Thessalonians 3:1313 And as for you,

brothers, never tire of doing what is right.

Hebrews 12:2-32 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and

perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him

endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of

the throne of God.

2 Chronicles 15:2-7The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you

seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. 3 For a long time Israel was

without the true God, without a priest to teach

and without the law.

2 Chronicles 15:2-74 But in their distress they turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and sought him,

and he was found by them. 5 In those days it was not safe to travel about, for all the inhabitants of the lands

were in great turmoil.

2 Chronicles 15:2-76 One nation was being crushed by another and

one city by another, because God was troubling

them with every kind of distress. 7 But as for

you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will

be rewarded."
