Tip: Pick a course you will enjoy, you will be

studying it for three or more years!

Tip: Although extra-curricular activities are

good, the key emphasis (roughly 80%) of

your personal statement should be on

your subject, after all that is what you

will be studying.

Tip: If you need to do an aptitude test have

a search around on either the Oxford

website or the department website as many

provide practice papers which can be very

useful.

Tip: Relax! Although you are unlikely to know

the answers to the questions instantly, neither

will anyone else. What you need to do is

engage with the discussion, and many find they

actually end up quite enjoying the experience.
