What is Plasma?

“Plasma is the liquid portion of your blood that can be easily replaced by the

body. It is made up of water and proteins, which help your body control bleeding

and infection.”

Donation Eligibility Guidelines

“To participate in a plasmapheresis program, you must meet some general donation criteria, such as:”

“You must be at least 18 years old to donate”

“A person must weigh at least 110 pounds.”
