We visit Grange laboratory at about 12pm, and we visit 3 labs. The first one was dealing with the

simulation of the geothermal system. The second one is about reservoir simulation there are two

machinesthatwasused inthis labwithcansimulatethereservoirconditionswithpressureupto500

barandtemperatureupto400degreeCelsius.The last lab isdealingwithbacteria, it isreallyhardto

believethatabout5cm3soilcancontain10billionbacteriaandinordertothetubewaskeepshaking

for theexperiment.The shakingmachinewasvery fantasticandcanhold48 tubesat the same time.

Another very important usage of geothermal is hot spring,wewent the tourism to theWairakei hot

spring to enjoy the geothermal energy. There are three to four pools, it is silica and mineral water

containing,itistastedwiredbuttheupperpoolismuchhotterthetemperatureisaboutover40degree
