About the Project:

One of our main construction and utility clients had just been awarded a five year contract.

One of the areas that the employees would be operating in was the highlands in Scotland.

Due to adverse weather that can plague this area, we designed and delivered a theoretical and practical package that gave the employees the knowledge of how to optimise their own productivity in this type of environment, as well as how to react correctly if something did go wrong.

The company recognised that they had a ‘duty of care’ to provide their employees with specific training.

Project Challenges:

Some of the areas that the employees were operating in are that remote they have to gain access via a helicopter.

Azea designed a programme that enabled all employees to function correctly in cold and wet environments. We looked at how employees could keep operationally effective, no matter what weather was present, and also trained them in how to function if an incident did occur.

This project received fantastic feedback and had already been proven to be effective numerous times since the training was delivered.
