Curriculum
The Flores Executive MBA Program is intended for the working professional with a minimum of 8 years of business experience. The program constitutes 17 months of study over two academic years with classes held on alternate Fridays and Saturdays.
The 45-hour core curriculum consists of 15 courses covering all major business fields. The curriculum includes three elective courses, which cover special topics of interest. The elective courses are selected with the interests of the current class of students in mind. Recent elective classes have included Business Planning, Negotiations, and Advanced Topics in Management and Leadership. The Flores EMBA Program concludes with an international residency in China, which reflects the global perspective integral to the entire curriculum.

MBA will position you for career development and personal growth, and unique attributes or life experiences that set you apart from other candidates, and how your participation will enhance our learning environment

*Candidates potentially eligible for a waiver include prospects with: a strong record of undergradaute performance (ex: 3.0 GPA or greater in a rigorous curriculum- including but not limited to- an LSU-equivalent degree in business, engineering, or science); post-baccalaureate, professional work experience (ex: leadership of teams, budgetary responsibility, or management of a staff); other credentials, including advanced graduate degrees, or supporting evidence that the candidate would be sucessful in a demaning graduate program.NOTE: To request a GMAT waiver contact Dana Hart (dhart@lsu.edu) for the Executive Flores MBA Program.
