My dear friend Clifford,
I was so excited to receive your letter. I was very happy to see thatyou were thinking about me.I was not able to read your letter, so I asked someone to translate itin french. Since October 13th, I have been going to school, ourteacher is another one. As I would like to pass my certifcate nextyear, I have a lot of work to do. I imagine that you are quite happy tobe out of the Army. Winter will be there soon: the weather is verycold. In St Médard, there is not a lot of things to do, that is always thesame. For the moment, I do not have a picture of myself, but nexttime I am am photographed, I will send you one. I hope that you andyour family are still healthy.Kindest regards,Your little french friend,
André Brun
P.S: In this postcard, do you recognize the place where you used toplay tennis or football?
