What causes day and night?
Day and night are created as earth spins on her axis. Which ever side is
facing the sun, that side is day time but the side facing away from the sun
has night time. As we rotate around the sun, the earth also spins so we
change times. In one day and night, we have 24 hours.
What are shadows and how are shadows
formed?
Shadow is the darkness that one object causes when it try’s to block the
light from shining on an object. Light travels in straight lines so when
light shines on an object, it cannot pass through it. As a result, the shadow
of the object is formed.

LEM changes over time:
The first LEM design looked like a cone-shaped cabin top and folding
legs.
The second design included the idea of large curved windows and seats,
to improve the astronaut’s hover and landing. Soon there were heaps of
designs to save weight and improve safety. We used to use fuel cells but
know we use an all battery design.

More and more people are wondering the same question. Should we
spend millions of dollars to explore space? In this text you will make up

Of course we should spend millions of dollars to explore space. Why,
space is an amazing thing for the following reasons. Stars, moons, planets, galaxies, comets and many more are waiting to be investigated.
For 40 years, we have tried to discover one question. Is there life on
Mars? Well, if we keep trying, we may soon find out.
Should we bother spending millions of dollars to explore space? Of
course not. It’s dangerous work and costs a lot. Not every one even likes
space so why should we bother investigating it. Even though we have
been trying to find out if there is life on Mars for 40 years, this doesn’t
mean we are going to succeed now when we failed for 40 years.

I think yes because we have the determination and technology to do it. I
believe we can succeed on finding life on Mars if only we try again.

Result:
I studied the shadows of a teddy.
My first angle created a big shadow behind the teddy. It was huge!
The second angle, my teddy only created a short shadow near his legs.
On my third angle, I made the poor teddy stand up! It created a tall one but when Itried the same angle again, it was the same.
My shadow experiment was very fun to do!
