•Social media is a low-cost, often free way to promote yourcause. People of all ages are signing up for social mediasites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

•YouTube lets people watch videos about your cause andlets them interact easily.

Many large and small companies, nonprofitorganizations and individuals have YouTubechannels. Creating a channel allows you toput all your information together in oneplace. It adds another medium for peopleto get involved and interact with your cause.Also, it can serve as a great networking tool.

The best part? A YouTube channel is easy toset up and it is free!

1. Go to www.youtube.com

You should see the screen below

2. If you already have a YouTube channel clickSign In in the upper right corner. If you don’t havean account click Sign Up in the upper right corner.

3. Once you are signed in click on your username in the upperright corner. This will bring you to your channel.You should see the screen below

4. Click on Edit Channel in the upper left corner. This will allowyou to change channel info, change the channel design andorganize your videos.

Adding videos is easy5. Click on Organize Videos.

6. Click on upload in the upper right hand corner.

7. When you are done making edits click onupdate channel.
