How do i find a book in the BVSW Library

Help! How can I find a book

in the library?

There are many different ways to locate a book. Click on the option below that fits you.

I know the author.

I know the title.

I know the type of book I want to read. (Mystery, Sports, etc.)

I have a favorite book, but need another one like it.

I know the author’s name.

Go to the main library page.

Type the author’s name in the box.

Click Search.

ORFrom the main library page, choose Books under Library Resources.

Back

I know the title of the book.

Go to the main library page.

Type the title in the box.

Click Search.

From the main library page, choose Books under Library Resources.

I know the type of book I want to read (mystery, sports, etc.).

Go to the main library page. Under Book Info, click Find A Book.

Click the tab, Genres/Subjects.

You will then see a list of subjects (mystery, realistic, etc.). Choose one of interest. Once you locate a book, go to the corresponding shelf area in the library. It is arranged by author’s last name. Not finding it? Stop by the library desk and the library paraswill be able to help you.

Go to the main library page. Under Book Info, click Find A Book.

One the main page, you will see two links, Book Seer and What Do I Read Next.

Choose a link to search for other books by typing in your favorite book. Also,

make sure to ask your friendly librarians or library paras.Back
