Display Tables Located in the power aisle of the Library ensuring maximum visual impact

Changed regularly using complementary signage to attract attention

Support patrons using displays on stress and exam techniques

Celebrate significant national and international events

Highlight University events such as the 'Speaking Volumes HIV Stories' project

Future Collaborate further with University departments, clubs and societies

Promote via social media such as Twitter, Facebook and Library blog

Monitor Library collections to ensure they remain current and relevant to

student needs

Examine marketing methods to promote the visual appeal of current

collections

Evaluation Increased awareness of non-academic collections

Positive feedback from patrons and LibQual survey epitomises the success of this

venture

Reinforces DCU Library’s position at the forefront of campus life and as a busy hub

of student activity

Positive impact on staff development in terms of collaborative working and new

skills acquisition
