When the user has selected a previous encounter in the Previous Encounters module, the user can select the “Artifacts and Images” Actions icon (or right-mouse click and select the “Manage Artifacts and Images” option) to launch HAIMS.
This launches the “Artifacts and Images (Selected)” tab and displays a list of assets in HAIMS that are associated to the selected previous encounter.

To associate assets, select Associate Existing

When the user has selected a problem in the Problem List section of the Problems module, the user can select the “Artifacts and Images” Actions icon (or right-mouse click and select the “Manage Artifacts and Images” option) to launch HAIMS.

Generate Ticket
• Generate a ticket for a test patient by clicking on the Create Ticket field and then fill out the required fields.

Print Ticket
• Generate Print Ticket coversheets by selecting one or more Ticket ID’s then clicking on the Print Ticket(s) button.

Scan
• Scan a document via the MFD to validate if it makes it into the Validation Queue.
• For CAC enabled MFDs, you will have the following 3 HAIMS scan options: (all 3 options need to be validated for functionality).– Bulk Scan – Enter Metadata– Select a ticket
• For Non-CAC MFDs, you will only be able to utilize the ‘Bulk Scan’ option (not applicable to all MFDs)

Validate
• Once a document has been scanned, click on the Validation Queue tab to verify the document has successfully made it into the queue.
• Click on “Validate Batch” to verify all information is correct.

End to End Testing - Import
• Once a scanned document has been verified in the Validation Queue using the “Validate Batch” option, it can then be imported into HAIMS by clicking on the “Import” button and then clicking on “Close Batch”.

End to End Testing – Search and Retrieve in HAIMS
• Once a document has been imported into HAIMS, it can then be viewed within HAIMS by doing a Patient Search for the particular patient with which the asset is associated.
