When GUSTAR is followed by an action verb, ALWAYS in the infinitive form, you ALWAYS use the singular form (box 3) of gustar = GUSTA

You like to eat pizza at 12:30.

I like to have orange juice when I eat cereal.

In Spanish, you generally only use two forms of the verb gustar:

• GUSTA : with singular nouns Me gusta la pizza.

• GUSTAN: with plural nouns OR more than one singular noun Te gustan las uvas. Te gustan la pizza y el chocolate. Me gustan el pan, el yogur, y el

cereal.

There are 5 different pronouns to use in front of the verb gustar. They match with the person who is being pleased or the person who is doing the liking.SINGULAR PLURAL

Me - to me Nos - to us

Te - to you X

Le - to you/him/

her

Les - to them/ you all
