Grow the game of Lacrosse by introducing Mini Sticks through the fun, safe and constructive

environments of the Boys and Girls Club of America.

Our Mission

• Mini Sticks is an affordable entry point into the game of Lacrosse, making the introduction to the sport more accessible to inner city Youth:– Equipment costs are more affordable (vs. Lacrosse)– Sport can be played in smaller spaces both indoors

and outside• Gyms• Basketball courts• Grassy areas

• Mini Sticks is to Lacrosse like Wiffle Ball is to Baseball and Flag Football is to Contact Football.

Why Mini Sticks?

• Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing team sports in the United States.– Youth membership (ages 15 and under) has more

than quadrupled since 1999 from 40,000 to nearly 200,000. – No sport has grown faster at the high school level over the last 10

years and there are now an estimated 169,000 high school players.• High school participation saw the largest percentage of increase

during the past year, with over 200,000 players in 2007– Lacrosse is also the fastest-growing sport over the last five years at

the NCAA level • The sport of lacrosse is a combination of basketball, soccer and

hockey.– The game requires and rewards coordination and agility, not brawn. – Quickness and speed are two highly prized qualities– An exhilarating sport, lacrosse is fast-paced and full of action. Long

sprints up and down the field with abrupt starts and stops, precision passes and dodges are routine in men's and women's lacrosse.

– Lacrosse is played with a stick, the crosse, which must be mastered by the player to throw, catch and scoop the ball.

countless hours of Mini stick in our backyards, on the beach and all weekend long in parking lots during the annual NCAA Men’s Lacrosse championships.

…and kids talking about it online…

Our Inspiration…and theirs

“So, I was just thinking and what do u guys think about Mini sticks, I

personally think there so much fun because one time me and my friends

had a huge game with only Mini sticks and it was so fun, so what do you all think about them do u like

them or just think their a wasted of time or what?”

“I just got two Warrior Mini sticks... They are SOO awesome, although after playing with them for a little bit, it feels weird to pick up your normal stick. But otherwise, they

are really fun. I want to get like 20 of them and have like a game on my team, with all our pads... That

would be sweet.”
