Hot-water System

Wet underfloor heating systems deliver their heat evenly across rooms improving the buildings thermal mass resulting in less sudden changes in temperature.

Underfloor heating uses lower tempertures warming from the ground upwards. This warms your feet and keeps your head cool. This maximises human comfort. A condensing combination boiler works efficiently

with these low temperatures. Double glassing will be used on the windows to reduce heat loss,

As I am proposing a public building, a disabled lift is mandatory. This requires its own fuze box connected directly to the mains through the meter. There are four

more main circuits which go through a distribution board. These are lighting, ap-pliances, electric cooker and boiler.

All electrical wires will run through sleeves which create better access for mainte-nance and safety.

Part F - VentilationIt is required in a common space where people gather that 1/50 of the flooring has to have ac-

cess to rapid ventilation (window opening)

Some of the rapid ventilations openings in my proposal are above 1.75m which is above the re-quired height. During direct sunlight the temperature in the main gathering room would increase

as a result of the large windows. By opening the windows to allow circulation of air, the room can cool.
