How to use Used to ?

Used to is a modal auxiliary that can be use in different situations: To talk about something that

already happened but at the current moment is no longer.

To talk about past habits or costumes.

The affirmative form of Used to needs to include :

Verb infinitve

I used to play the piano

The negative form must have

NOT

NOTE: in this case, the negation goes in the auxiliary verb, so YOU DONT NEED to put “used to” , instead of that, you put the word USE in present.
