STaRTEA has been required to report on the progress of districts receiving funds from No Child Left Behind, Title II, Part D as of January 2002.

Reporting requirements for NCLB have been documented as a part of the Texas Campus STaR Chart.

Teachers create and integrate web-based lessons that support learning objectives throughout the curriculum. Students are computer literate by the time they graduate high school.

•Teach content units online.

•Create interactive, collaborative, customized learning environments.

•30 or more hours of technology professional development is available per school year.

•Anytime, anywhere learning available through a variety of delivery systems.

•Teachers help others in the development of strategies for creating new learning environments.

Leadership, Administration and Instructional Support

Educational leaders support use of technologies to enhance instructional methods.

Campus uses a variety of media to communicate with stakeholders.

Leadership promotes a shared

vision that encourage continuous innovation with technology

Campus funds are allocated to meet the goals and

objectives outlined in the CIP.

 

Infrastructure for

Technology

•Students have 1 to 1 access to Internet- connected multimedia computers.

•Direct connectivity to the Internet available in all rooms with adequate bandwidth.

•Fully equipped classrooms with readily available technology to enhance student instruction.
