Created in 2006 by the Texas Legislature, the School Technology and Readiness

measurement system to determine the following:

STaR Chart Surveys and Questionnaires

STaR chart questionnaires are –administered to students yearlyteachers are expected to respond to surveys

Each Summary Area has subsections called “Key Areas”.

Under each key area are the specifics of what skills or knowledge level is expected.

STaR Chart is the measurement tool used to plan for technology education in the state of Texas Please answer honestly and supervise the responses

of your students for validity

Meyer ES has increased in the STaR chart scores but still has enormous room for improvement

District leaders are committed to funding the equipment necessary to reach these goals.
