This is my original image Fresh off the printer

I printed out letters I wanted to useFresh off the printer

I taped the two pieces of paper together I also needed a light source for tracing

Tracing is completeI used a black sharpie

I ripped the tape offIt didn’t tear as much as I thought it would

I started to cut out the traced letters This was pretty difficult

The cutting complete

I traced ALL onto a Styrofoam blockAgain with the black sharpie

Then I cut out ALL from the Styrofoam This step was extremely messy

Next I glued the two cutouts togetherThe glue had a hard time staying on top of the Styrofoam because it is so porous

I glued the image to some construction paperThat got me thinking why is it called construction paper

I glued the Styrofoam ALL to the construction paperAgain with the pores

You can hardly tell there is Styrofoam there

I lit the image on fireThis was a controlled burn

I wet a paper towel My dabbing technique was flawless

This is where the water soaked in

Water damageOn top of fire damage

This was the final projectI really like the way it came out
