DESCRIPTION

Prescription of Aristotle's ethical philosophies to modern database and privacy concerns. The slideshow illustrates the modern media confliction stemming an example from the 2011 Amazon Kindle data compilation problem. The slideshow applies thinking from the Late Archaic and Hellenistic Periods to show media consumers need total awareness concerning what data they release to entities upon oath and affirmation of using electronic services. I created this slideshow in 2011, extracting a few slides from one of my previous slideshows.

What would Aristotle do?

Deliberate action is responsible action.

A person’s actions are involuntary :

1) Action is caused by an external force

2) Actions were based on ignorance.
