Making integrated search system which your choice - primo central index or

summon?

Hi!I would like to discuss with code4lib-geeks

about making discovery layer.

I came from Japan,NRT-IND is 16hours.(w/o bus waiting 2h)

Now, we are using intergrated search

system MetaLib+X-

Server+xerxes 2 years

(only one user of xerxes in Japan)

"AFFRIT is Early Adopter"

Pacific, Ex Libris)

We testing eXtensible Catalog(XC) for integrate holding information by NCIP, to our agriculture research libraries union

catalog (=60) and databases.

By the way,

Which is good to make discovery

layer,Primo Central Index, Summon or other?

MetaLib can search Primo Central Index,

but not support NCIP now.

Summon seems to good API than X-

server.Many VuFind user.

Is Primo has usefull API?

Important thing is,

Which is a geek choice?
