Function of Organelle: Control what substances go in

and out of a cell

CELL WALL

Function of organelle: Give rigidity, strength, and

protection against mechanical stress

Maintain a plant cell’s shape, protect the cell plant, keep plant upright against forces of gravity

Function of organelle: Help assemble microtubules

during cell division

Make up green pigment called chlorophyll that helps plants make their own food

materials from Golgi apparatus or Rough ER to other parts of the cell and take secretory materials from the Golgi apparatus to the cell wall
