DESCRIPTION

A project I was involved with implementing with two other individuals, John Williams and Evette McKenzie, through The Gwinnett neighborhood Leadership Institute (www.gnli.org) in 2007-2008. It consisted of building a community garden for a senior citizens community in Lawrenceville, GA called Applewood Towers II. Since many of the seniors are mobility impaired, we built raised beds to give them access to a place to garden.
