Phone Call With “NYC Test + Trace” As The Caller ID, Please Pick Up. It’s the NYC Test and Trace Corps contact tracers ready to help you and your loved ones stay safe from COVID19. Anyone safely separated at home will be offered meal delivery, medication and essential services through a Resource Navigator. Anyone unable to safely separate at home will be offered a FREE hotel room. If you test positive, you will be called within 24 hours by a Tracer. Learn more. Find a testing site. Other Resources∙ Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a federally funded program that

helps low-income homeowners and renters pay for utility and heating bills- this includes Cooling Assistance for the Summer months. Voice Phone: 212-331-3126. Visit: Home Energy Assistance Program Website.

∙ Free/low cost air conditions/fans: Financial help to cover the cost and installation of an air conditioner or fan. Check eligibility and learn more here. The City is providing free air conditioners to low-income seniors who pre-qualify based on their enrollment in City benefits programs. Learn more here.

∙ Hurricane season began June 1st . The My Emergency Plan and Hurricanes in New York City guide and hurricane evacuation zones map have also been updated, and is posted on our guides page.

∙ Pandemic Operational Guidance for 2020 Hurricane Season. FEMA releases the COVID-19 Pandemic Operational Guidance for the 2020 Hurricane Season to help emergency managers and public health officials better prepare for all-hazards disasters, while continuing to respond to and recover from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
